Concord California – eQuest Software today launched its state of the art BlackBerry Mobile work order management Application for field technicians. eQuest clients enjoy unlimited use of this powerful state of the art for free. This latest and highly anticipated addition to eQuest’ previously released BlackBerry Walkthrough inspection application, once again has the completion racing to try to keep up. Because this newly released application allows technicians in the field to call up all of their work orders in real-time for the Day, Week, Month or from the past, the technician can avoid traveling to the office simply to pick up their work orders. They can drive directly to their first job from their home if desired saving valuable time and mileage. The Application is also available in eQuest’s exclusive Spanish version. The new Work order App allows the technician to see all orders for the selected day or days. The technician can then snap a picture and auto-label it as a “Before” picture from the Blackberry’s own onboard camera. The technician performs the work per the description on the mobile work order. The tech may take in-progress photos during the course of the job and auto-label those pictures as well. Once the job is complete, the technician takes a final “After” picture. All pictures are time and date stamped automatically and attached directly to the work order automatically. When the pictures are sent, the application automatically attaches a physical address to the order verifying the time, date and address where the picture was taken from. This technology is useful for management to verify that the technician was actually at the work site from start to finish. The Technician then adds his Time& Materials to the workorder along with any notes and sends the completed workorder results with the click of a button. The office is instantly notified that the work order is complete and views the total job cost values based upon the technicians preloaded rate of pay and material costs used on the job. The office can then bill the job and email the invoice to the client. The client can literally have the invoice at their desk with visual (before & after) photo evidence of the completed project and approve it for payment as the technician is driving off the property. This type of automatic communication and follow through is unheard of in the industry.
