eQuest Software, a leader in service industry work order management software, is pleased to announce the launch of its real-time BlackBerry Walkthrough Inspection application.
The software offers many benefits which helps to improve the efficiency, productivity and ultimately maximize the customer service experience of any business within the service industry. The launch of its much-anticipated application, the BlackBerry inspection app, aids and enhances Quality Assurance walkthroughs, from documenting and presenting findings through to empowering businesses to initiate a proactive, fast response.
As eQuest is a web-based software, it can be accessed at anytime via any internet-enabled handheld device, such as a BlackBerry. When supervisors and managers perform on-site quality control inspections, they are now able to enter the results directly into eQuest's electronic forms via BlackBerry App. As the results are recorded instantly on-site, any issues raised can be sent to the necessary persons to be dealt with immediately. No longer will service providers have to perform manual inspections by writing or typing service deficiencies during a walkthrough inspection, just to return to the office and re-type the same exact information on a follow-up form for the supervisory staff to react upon. The ability to provide a proactive, rapid response will improve customer service and will help to reduce the wait time on resolving any issues. This instant process avoids duplicating work and subsequently, the possible loss of information.
Each inspection is rated and a score is tabulated based upon the results; detailed notes can also be stored permanently on eQuest for future reference, allowing you to track progress over multiple inspections. As deficiencies are noted, our exclusive "item specific" photo attachment allows the inspector to take photos via the BlackBerry's on-board camera and attach the photos to the specific item(s) on the inspection form. This allows the issue(s) to be displayed visually, providing a clear, visual understanding of the issue(s) at hand and avoiding possible misinterpretation which can occur with written descriptions. eQuest supports for before and after image documentation providing visual evidence of the resulting actions taken which rectified the issue(s).
The eQuest App automatically locates the address of the inspection via the cellular GPS co ordinance** and feeds this information onto the completed inspection form, along with a time and date stamp, verifying your employee's presence. eQuest goes above and beyond the documentation of findings, it also has the ability to display the results in clear, presentable and easy-to-read graphs and charts. These charts provide a valuable, at-a-glance overview of your findings your clients will find very useful. The results of the inspection can be easily emailed to the client or can be made "private" so that the client is unable to view them. This provides you with full control over the information and allows you to keep the details internally if you so desire.
